Parking Iron Horse Pass What To Expect Beer and Wine

Festival Logo by Bobby Flurie
Parking in the MARC rail parking lot is encouraged. It is free and only two blocks from the Festival. Simply
follow the MARC rail signs.
This upgraded admission pass gives you access to special shaded seating areas at each stage and helps support the Blues Festival.
These areas are complete with extra seating, complimentary snacks and lemonade.
In addition, the pass gives you access to the private after-party at Beans in the Belfry where Freddie Long will play a special
acoustic set. Beer and wine will be available at Beans in the Belfry for this special occassion.
Iron Horse Passes are available for $25 at Brunswick Mainstreet's office on Potomac Street from 11AM-3Pm, or at Book Crossing at the
corner of Potomac and Maple Streets from 5AM-7PM. They will be available on Saturday at
the Festival on a space available basis. Do to space limitations, we have set a strict limit of forty Iron Horse Passes.
With Potomac Street closed, this year's Frederick Blues Festival is set up like a street party. We are using a model loosely
based on Frederick's In the Street celebration, smaller of course, but you will be free to roam up and down the street freely.
We will have two stages set-up about 100 yards apart. There will be limited seating in the beer and wine garden and the
Iron Horse areas, but otherwise no seating will be provided. You are welcome to bring a folding chair and enjoy the show from
your own seat.
Brunswick is a charming little town and there will be several food concessions and specialty vendors set-up in Potomac Street.
The shops along Potomac Street will be open, these include several restaurants as well as boutiques, antique shops and
the Railroad Museum. So wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to wander around doing a bit of exploring.
Beer and wine will be served by Brunswick Mainstreet in a special area across from Square Corner Park. You must be 21 years of
age to enter this area. Everyone entering this area will be asked to show proof of age. Alcohol of any kind is prohibited outside
of this area.
The cost for beer and wine will be $3.50 per serving or three for $10. Beer and wine will be served from noon until 7:30 PM in the
beer garden and again from 8:30 PM until 9:20 PM at Beans in the Belfry. The three for $10 special will be available only until 6:00 PM.
Brunswick Mainstreet reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
Anyone with an interest in volunteering, or food concessions and craft vendors can
contact us at frederickbluessociety@yahoo.com, or call Brunswick Mainstreet at 301-834-5591.
